The Agora Sant Cugat International School educational project is based on four Core Principles which make NACE Schools different from the rest: educational excellence, global readiness, including language immersion, co-curricular excellence and an education in values. These core principles help us to achieve our main objective: to prepare each pupil to live happily and successfully in a globalised world.
One of the fundamental aspects of our educational project is to help the pupils identify, and make the most of, their individual talents by means of our comprehensive and precise methodology, which is what we call educational excellence. Our highly qualified staff work every day to ensure that our pupils have the tools they need to develop their skills and reach their full potential thanks to personalised attention. By using an innovative methodology, taking on top teachers, keeping up-to-date with technology and offering facilities that adapt to a wide range of needs, we ensure that our project is one of educational excellence.
Global readiness is the second core principle which defines the Agora Sant Cugat International School educational project. We offer language immersion in three languages (English, Catalan, and Spanish), while also offering lessons in Chinese, German, and French, all taught by native or bilingual teachers who help pupils to prepare for internationally recognised language exams. The global readiness of our pupils is complemented with international exchanges, and international programmes and activities which NACE Schools organise during the school year so that our pupils have unique personal and learning experiences with pupils from all over the world.
The third core principle of our educational project is co-curricular excellence. At Agora Sant Cugat International School we are more than just a school and we teach knowledge and skills which go beyond those purely academic, offering rigorous sports, music and creative arts programmes. We include these disciplines into the curriculum as they play an important role in the comprehensive development of people, point which takes us onto our fourth and final core principle: an education in values. As well as acquiring a degree of sensitivity, the pupils learn essential values which will help them to develop both academically and personally, such as respect and tolerance, self-improvement, responsibility, and social commitment.
The first core principle of our project: the best possible educational methodologies and a constantly improving teaching staff that get the best out of each one of our students. An innovative methodology, highly qualified teachers, new technologies and everything the students need to be top performers.Further Information

The fourth core principle of our educational project, an education in values is key to creating people who will lead a better world. We show our students the importance of values that will stay with them throughout their lives, values such as respect and tolerance, self-improvement, responsibility and social commitment, all by means of team projects where they are the ones in charge.Further Information
“Agora Sant Cugat International School is much more than an excellent academic cradle. Headmaster of Agora Sant Cugat International School
“Creativity has been a mainstay in my life and I began to realise its full potential when I was at Agora school. Every week we would have to write a text on a given subject and we would share it with our classmates by reading it aloud. (…..) When I started at the school I was surprised by the freedom we had to bring up subjects and by how we were encouraged to make ourselves heard and take an active part in the lessons.”
