VT Agora Sant Cugat students get First Prize in the Catalan Audiovisual Council contest while Baccalaureate students are awarded by Renault at the “International Road Safety Awards”
One more year, the students of the Higher Degree of Audio-visual Projects and Shows and those of Sound for Audio-visuals and Shows of VT Agora Sant Cugat International School have obtained the First Prize in the contest “The CAC at school”, convened by the Catalan Audio-visual Council, which this year celebrates its seventeenth edition. The piece is titled “Els ulls de la lluna” (The eyes of the moon) and can be seen on the eduCAC YouTube channel, linked below.
The CAC Awards at school are aimed at students and teachers at educational centres in Catalonia and aim to promote education in media communication in the school environment. 52 schools and institutes from all over Catalonia have participated in this year’s edition, with a total of 81 works presented.
This week has brought great joy to the school, which has also received news of the award won by its students in Renault’s “Your Ideas, Your Initiatives”, a global programme to educate teenagers about road safety and sustainable mobility. This award, which is part of the prestigious “International Road Safety Awards”, has been awarded to the innovative project developed by Clara Biosca, Júlia Church and Olivia Hageman.
